I think you may try this method: dip the balloon into the chocolate, refrigerate for 3-4 min, then add another two layers using the same procedure. I hope this works, have a nice day :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17562517064274366117noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8248952091441165018.post-36086136954299122322011-08-09T18:03:08.667-07:002011-08-09T18:03:08.667-07:00use a normal sized balloon, dip in the chocolate, ...use a normal sized balloon, dip in the chocolate, then place on a pan with wax paper to cool/harden (this will also add a flat bottom) then pop the balloon, and pick out the pieces.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8248952091441165018.post-71343767498755745322011-08-08T19:16:23.333-07:002011-08-08T19:16:23.333-07:00Love it. We dipped while the chocolate was too hot and a balloon exploded all over the kitchen! Such a mess. We had the same problem with getting them off after too, but the freezer worked, if we let the air out super slowly and peeled as it went. All in all delish and our friends are forever impressed :)
(We did not let them see the chocolate on the ceiling.)melhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13329435388509578871noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8248952091441165018.post-22411465494876981652011-07-25T08:20:29.789-07:002011-07-25T08:20:29.789-07:00I'm glad I'm not the only one that failed ...I'm glad I'm not the only one that failed at this. I had the same problems, except when I tried the thinner balloons, they didn't pop until I had them covered in chocolate and about to put them on the sheets. You can't believe how far melted chocolate can fly!! I have tried the fridge, but not the freezer. hmmmmmgrammaDawnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15261771761540461663noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8248952091441165018.post-21953623628877606192011-07-22T01:11:54.896-07:002011-07-22T01:11:54.896-07:00fantastic!!! <3<3<3

Basically you dont need to grease the balloon. After dipping the balloon in the candy melt you place it on parchement paper on a cookie tray and put it in the freezer for about 15 minutes. To remove the balloon you hold the top of the balloon and take a pin and pop the balloon. You have to be extreme careful when removing the balloon so the chocolate wont break but you just carefully peel the balloon from the chocolate. The chocolate addict have a great video tutorial. http://www.rbyrneproductions.com/chocphotos.html

Hope this helps!Janelle Kinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06754922104845323405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8248952091441165018.post-31021280963950201602011-07-20T12:17:55.032-07:002011-07-20T12:17:55.032-07:00Even if it didn't work, this tutorial is super...Even if it didn't work, this tutorial is super cool! I'm with theolivetree - I bet it would help a lot to put them in the freezer or refrigerator for maybe 10 minutes.

The other thing I thought of is maybe adding paraffin wax to the melted chocolate, which is what you do to make buckeyes (peanut butter balls dipped in chocolate). I think it helps both with the texture (it makes the chocolate shiny and smooth instead of dull) and it also helps the chocolate to harden and stick. Maybe if you tried "greasing" them up again but used the wax it would allow both the chocolate to not fall off of the balloon and to come out easier when it sets??Jessica @ Once Upon a Perchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15784714195735918148noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8248952091441165018.post-7523110997495998462011-07-20T08:33:25.860-07:002011-07-20T08:33:25.860-07:00...or maybe putting them in the freezer to cool of......or maybe putting them in the freezer to cool off...this helps with chocolate molds???The Olive Tree Bloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13480207748236952289noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8248952091441165018.post-91112372625594508242011-07-20T08:32:46.672-07:002011-07-20T08:32:46.672-07:00I'm glad you are trying this!! ummmmm maybe ad...I'm glad you are trying this!! ummmmm maybe add oil to your chocolate so it is a little more runny?? hhmmm... not sure if that would help...I love the look of the chocolate bowls! The Olive Tree Bloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13480207748236952289noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8248952091441165018.post-77931514130431775512011-07-20T08:31:19.945-07:002011-07-20T08:31:19.945-07:00aw :( haha well it was a good attempt anyway! i ha...aw :( haha well it was a good attempt anyway! i have no idea how you could not make the balloons stick without the chocolate slipping off. maybe just eat around the balloon? lmao
xo dana
thewonderforest.comDana Foxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16765434513591686519noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8248952091441165018.post-45638525198809790792011-07-20T08:22:27.216-07:002011-07-20T08:22:27.216-07:00Just re-posted this to my blog.
