Sugar cookies are fun to make for so many different occasions! Traditionally, my family will make and frost them for Halloween, Valentines Day, and Christmas. Every time I make them, they are gone before I know it, so watch out they may be a little addicting!

Sugar Cookie Recipe
1 cup butter, softened
1 Tsp Vanilla
1-1/2 cups sugar
3-1/2 cups flour
2 tsp cream of tarter
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
Step 1. Combine butter, vanilla, and sugar, mix well.
Step 2. Then, mix in the eggs.
Step 3. In a separate bowl, combine all dry ingredients then add to original bowl. mix well.
Step 4. Cover bowl, and place cookie mix in the fridge for at least an hour or overnight. When you are ready to start baking, flour a large clean surface and roll out the dough a little larger then 1/8" of an inch in thickness.
Step 5. Cut with cookie cutters and lay on a baking sheet.
Step 6. Bake at 350 degrees for 7-10 min. You want to take them out before they turn golden brown, unless you like them a little crunchy.
