An Update
Well, I'm about 16 weeks along in my pregnancy now and things are going fairly well! I'm starting to get "the bump" but am at that sort of awkward point where if you didn't know I was pregnant you would just think that I have put on a few extra pounds...not so fun. My clothes are starting to get too tight but my old maternity jeans are still too big so getting dressed everyday has become a bit of a challenge. I still get a little nausea and heartburn everyday (or every evening/night I should say) but I had that through my whole first pregnancy so I'm expecting this one to be the same.
I had one of my regular Dr. visits last week and was reminded that I will be having the ultra sound where I find out the baby's gender at my next visit (which is at the end of this month)! I couldn't believe it was already so soon but I'm excited to find out!
Hope everyone had a great weekend! I made THIS soup for dinner yesterday and it was delicious! A perfect way to start off the fall!
Do you have any favorite soup recipes? I'm always looking to add some to my list!

Awww you are just so cute! You are almost halfway there! Finding out the gender is the best part..I am not the type of person who can keep it a secret and not find out..cant wait to hear!
ReplyDeleteI'm of two minds about the ultrasounds to find out the sex of the baby....I know from a financial standpoint, knowing the sex of the baby before it's born is a GREAT idea- but on the other hand I still like the element of surprise and anticipation. Knowing me tho- I'd HAVE to know. I've seen enough ultrasounds to be able to SEE it- and unless there was total silence and I had in earplugs and a blindfold the entire time- they wouldn't be able to keep it from me. Yeah- and i'd probably end up breaking into the radiology department in the middle of the night to find out the results because it was driving me insane that someone knew the sex of MY baby and I didn't and then I'd get arrested and be sent to prison and then the baby would grow up in a broken home because my hubby would divorce me for doing something stupid like that and it would just totally ruin everyone's life...so yeah. I'd have to know.
ReplyDeleteWow. Sometimes it scares me where my mind goes. LMBO!!!
Congrats hun!! ;-D
Thinking maybe I might do the Rose Frosting technique on a cake and do the roses in autumn colors.
